My first point is this: you don’t have to be perfect to lose weight. If you get on some sort of action-based program that includes some exercise and an average diet, chances are you will lose weight. The only variable here is, if you are doing things in a haphazard fashion you will get inconsistent results.
Point # 2: Any action is better than no action. Meaning, do something (eat less, walk in the morning, join a gym) anything, and continue doing that something until you can add more action, more exercise and a tighter diet to your daily schedule. You may not be able to go full blast this week, but if you can begin doing a few things, then perhaps next week you can do more.
If you’re already doing something for your weight, then adding things gets easier. Instead of starting from nothing you are able to hit the ground running. This gives you a mental edge.

If you’re looking to lose weight faster you must do plenty of exercise, and clean up your diet, both at the same time. Usually somebody who is looking for easy ways to lose weight fast hasn’t spent much time exercising or eating right throughout their life, so this may be a difficult proposition, at least in the beginning.
Point #3: Make a plan on paper and follow that plan. All good things are built with a concrete plan. Your body is no different. Form a plan, create a schedule, and follow through with action. If you are willing to do the planning then you can certainly lose weight fast. If you are not willing to plan, then you will likely wind up unhappy with your results in the short-term.
You wouldn’t go on vacation “spur of the moment” would you? No. You would “plan” the vacation by buying plane tickets, making reservations at a hotel, and reserving a rental car. That’s planning.
Losing weight is not as difficult as “experts” claim. It’s not easy, either. But if you plan ahead and are committed to taking action, then you can and will achieve your weight loss goals.
